James Camastra has been a personal trainer in New York City for almost two decades. In 2004 he started Progressive Personal Training (PPT), quickly opening up his first personal training studio. In 2013 he expanded PPT into a 1500 sq. ft. facility, offering more options and better equipment for clients.
James has a passion for fitness that is evident. He holds an MS in Exercise Science and keeps up with the latest findings in health, exercise, and sports-specific conditioning. James maintains all his certifications with a wide variety of continuing education courses. His expertise includes: post-rehab, muscular development, posture/muscle balance, weight loss, sports conditioning and core training.

Antonio Sini has been passionate about fitness most of his life. Having played sports through high school and college, he learned that proper coaching and instruction were the keys to success. This inspired him to help others. He made it his life mission to be the best “coach” he could be and has devoted himself to teaching clients how to live healthier lives.
Antonio’s experience and education span more than 20 years. In 1994, the American College of Sport Medicine (ACSM) certified him as an exercise leader. While pursuing a bachelor degree in physical education at Hunter College, Antonio began working part-time as a personal trainer for Crunch Fitness, eventually becoming the personal training manager for it’s largest clubs in New York and California. His knowledge and skill make him one of the most respected personal trainers and fitness experts in New York City.
After a short stint as personal training manager for New York Health & Racquet, Antonio left to help start Nimble Fitness, a very successful boutique health and wellness studio. While there he continued to expand his fitness knowledge, attending many health and fitness workshops and acquiring multiple specialty certifications.
In 2014 Antonio joined good friend and master trainer James Camastra to fulfill a life-long dream of owning his own fitness studio. As co-owner of PPT, Antonio is helping to expand the company’s offerings while continuing to deliver the highest level of personal training service.

David Tugman loves fitness and enjoys working with people of all abilities- everyone from premier high school athletes to the elderly with balance and coordination issues. He provides guidance for those seeking nutrition information, weight management, pre- and post-surgical orthopedic rehab, proper muscular strength, and conditioning and sport-specific training techniques.
David’s education and experience as a physical therapy aide makes him a valuable asset to the PPT team. He is one of New York City’s premier trainers. His credentials includes:

Elite Trainer, PPT
While in the United Stated Air Force, Michael developed a passion for weight training and bodybuilding. After leaving the USAF, he decided to pursue a career in fitness. Michael became a certified personal trainer through the Athletics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and enrolled in Laramie Community College, where he studied Anatomy and Physiology.
He developed his training skills while working as a personal trainer (and eventual fitness manager) for Smart Sports in his home state of Wyoming. In 2016 Michael moved to New York City to further his career in health and fitness. He enrolled in the well-regarded Focus Personal Training Institute, graduating with top honors. Michael is also currently pursuing a Level 1 certification through Precision Nutrition.
An avid weight lifter who competes in body-building competitions, Michael exudes passion and dedication. Its what drives him to want to provide others the guidance they need to attain their own health and fitness goals. That is what makes him such a valuable part of the PPT team.

Alissa is a nationally recognized Registered Dietitian and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist based in New York City. Having started her career working at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Alissa quickly saw the long-term effects that poor nutrition and physical inactivity could have on the body. After working for over six years with critically ill adults, she developed Alissa Rumsey Nutrition & Wellness Consulting to help others improve their health and wellbeing, helping people create a positive, sustainable relationship with food and exercise. Specializing in weight management, sports nutrition, and nutrition for chronic diseases, Alissa offers personalized nutrition coaching along with nutrition communications consulting. Alissa’s expertise is regularly featured on television, online, and in print—she is renowned for her ability to make the science of nutrition accessible. As a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, she represents a national association of over 77,000 Registered Dietitians and nutrition professionals.
Alissa earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Dietetics and Exercise Science from the University of Delaware and a Master’s of Science degree in Health Communications from Boston University. She completed her dietetic internship with the University of Connecticut where she was awarded the prestigious “Dietetic Intern of the Year” Award from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In 2007, she earned her Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In her spare time, Alissa can be found running in Central Park, traveling to far-off countries, and, as a self-proclaimed “foodie,” exploring the expansive New York City food and restaurant scene.
